Scared Mechanics debuts on éist radio
Listening to éist radio as I work has been a lovely connection to my home of Cork.
The diverse selection of radio shows and the rapid amount of tracks I saved on my Bandcamp from listening, inspired me to get in touch and get my own show off the ground.
I'm chuffed to get going on 'Sacred Mechanics' - A title inspired by a Leonard Cohen quote in an interview with Jarvis Cocker about not analysing the creative process for fear of breaking the spell it has.
The show will be a monthly love letter to that sacred spell music can take us on. Each show will be split into two different hours. The first hour is a very open format and heavily themed. In the 2nd hour, I will get a bit more handy on the mixing and focus on electronic and dancefloor-oriented tracks.
I will have a theme every month; though this being my first show, I've opted for a safe theme of tracks I've enjoyed that were released in the first half of this year.
