Introducing WiseNoise: A New Podcast about Creative Practice
I’ve got some news…
I've launched a podcast.
It's called WiseNoise, and it's something I've wanted to do for years. A space to have real conversations with the creatives and designers who inspire me. A chance to go behind the scenes, dig into the work, and get to know the humans behind the designs.

Why a Podcast? Why Now?
I’ve hosted radio shows before and listened to podcasts endlessly while working. I’ve always been dreaming of applying my hosting skills to my own podcast.
I've always been fascinated by the stories of the people creating those visuals. The designers, illustrators, art directors, and creative thinkers who pour themselves into their work every single day.
WiseNoise seems to be coming at the right time, as I want to share more about my own process, learn from others, and explore what makes creatives tick. Not just the polished portfolio pieces, but the messy middle bits. The failures. The breakthroughs. The "I nearly gave up but then..." moments.

What Is WiseNoise All About?
At its core, WiseNoise is a conversation. Simple as that.
Each episode, I'll be sitting down with a creative: whether that's a brand designer, an illustrator, a typographer, or someone working in a completely different corner of the creative industry, and we'll talk. Proper talk. Heavy, light, and all the shades in between.
I want WiseNoise to feel like you're eavesdropping on two mates catching up over a cuppa.

Who's Behind the Mic?
That would be me. Pearse O'Halloran, owner of Wiselove Studio, hi!.
I've spent years working on branding, logo design, and visual identity projects for clients across a wide range of industries. I've had the privilege of collaborating with some brilliant people along the way, and I've learned that every single one of them has a story worth telling.
WiseNoise is my way of sharing those stories. Not just with my clients, but with anyone who's curious about the creative process. Whether you're a designer yourself, a business owner trying to understand the world of branding, or just someone who likes a good conversation, this podcast is for you.

Why ‘WiseNoise’?
The ‘Wise’ part is a nod to Wiselove Studio, obviously. But it's also about the wisdom that comes from experience. The kind you can only get by doing the work, making the mistakes, and learning from the people around you.
The ‘Noise’ part? That's the creative chaos. The ideas are bouncing around. The conversations, debates, and the occasional nonsense make this industry so enjoyably unpredictable.
So boom - WiseNoise. Thoughtful conversations with a bit of creative chaos thrown in.

What Can You Expect from Each Episode?
Every episode of WiseNoise will follow a loose structure: enough to keep things on track, but flexible enough to let the conversation breathe.
Here's what you can look forward to:
The Intro. A quick hello and a bit of context about who we're chatting with.
B.S.U.Y.A. (Blow Smoke Up Your Arse) Section: I’ll pick out some of my fave projects of theres and we'll dig into their work, their creative process, and the real grit of bringing the shiny visuals to life.
The Bingo Wheel of Wisdom: Fast questions, fast answers. All decided by the random spin of the wheel.
The Heavy Dessert Menu. The Guest chooses from a menu of industry topics (AI, Pricing, Selfpromotion etc.) and we chat about our lukewarm takes.
